Not all CV writing services are the same
CV writing is not a commodity service. On the internet you'll find a range of people who call themselves CV writers. Some are basically typists who reformat what you have written. Others are online services where you type your data into a standard template and a computer formats what you wrote to look like a CV. Like most things, you get what you pay for.

Successful Resumes provides an advanced, personal, professional service that involves extended face-to-face (or phone) interviews to create a unique, personalised CV.
Our approach suits people who do not have a straightforward work history; where they have changed industries or career paths, worked overseas, run their own businesses, been away from the workforce for extended periods, or have a specialised career or target job (in other words, most people).
Our process involves interviewing you for around an hour to really understand you and your strengths, analysing, drafting, reviewing with you, editing and packaging.
We base our charges on an hourly rate of $ 59 plus GST. As a rough indication, it takes four to five hours for an entry level CV, and up to six or even seven hours for a senior manager with many years of experience.
When we first talk, we'll discuss your work history and job search needs. From that we can give you a quote based on how long we estimate your project will take. We confirm this price before starting work with you and keep to this price.

Unlike some firms, Successful Resumes does not expect you to pay everything upfront before the project even starts. We request 50% deposit when we interview you and then the balance just prior to delivering the first draft to you.
